(Sacramento) – Assemblymember Reginald Jones-Sawyer (D-South Los Angeles) joined Assembly Speaker Anthony Rendon and several other Assembly Democratic lawmakers for a news conference in the State Capitol to discuss National Gun Violence Awareness Day and pending gun related legislation. “As Chair of the Assembly Public Safety Committee, I am proud to stand behind my colleagues who seek to reform the nature of gun policy in California in order to help address the increasing gun violence we experience today,” Assemblymember Jones-Sawyer said. “It is my hope that these bills move through the legislative process and are eventually signed into law by our Governor.” Here’s more in this Assembly Access video.
