(Los Angeles) - Veterans from all branches of the United States armed forces, from World War II to the current conflict in Afghanistan, came together at historic Patriotic Hall in Los Angeles to be honored by Assemblymember Reggie Jones-Sawyer (D-South Los Angeles) in observance of Veterans Day. "I don't think we do enough to thank our veterans," Jones-Sawyer said to the group of vets, their families and their friends. "We need to do more. I'm going to do everything in my power in Sacramento to do that." The event served as an opportunity not only to honor veterans, but to also to provide information on services available to veterans; including housing, women's services, and career assistance.
