(Los Angeles) – A huge crowd of family, friends and supporters gathered in February to celebrate the election of Assemblymember Reggie Jones-Sawyer (D-South LA) as the representative of the 59th District. The freshman Assemblymember’s two older children, Reggie and Lauren, spoke at the event, his youngest son, Evan, led the crowd in the Pledge of Allegiance and former Assembly Speaker and current City Council President Herb Wesson had the honor of conducting the ceremonial swearing in.
