Sacramento - California State Assemblymember Reggie Jones-Sawyer (D-South L.A.) was encouraged by Governor Jerry Brown’s State of the State Address. Assemblymember Jones-Sawyer believes that the Governor is correct in his vision of fiscal responsibility, while funding education to move California. Assemblymember Jones-Sawyer was also heartened that the Governor specifically spoke of the need to put more resources toward students who come from disadvantaged backgrounds.
