I am proud to share that I have secured $5.5 million for groups and organizations in my District for programs, services, and new construction projects that will benefit the communities in the 57th Assembly District for years to come.
Funding awards are being given to the following organizations:
- $2 million to Community Coalition to build the Center for Community Organizing
- $1 million to the California Science Center to create the Air and Space Center
- $1 million for the Treehouse Leimert Park Housing Project
- $500, 000 to renovate the Al Malaikah Shrine Auditorium
- $500, 000 for the Biddy Mason South Los Angeles Mixed-Use Housing Project
- $500, 000 for the Los Angeles Skid Row Action Plan to create a Community Health Hub and Safe Services Space
