Jones-Sawyer's Bill Package Clears Committees Moving to Floor Votes

SACRAMENTO, California – (May 22, 2023) – Assemblymember Reggie Jones-Sawyer (D-Los Angeles) has 10 bills heading to the Assembly Floor for full votes on a range of issues including public safety, consumer safety, and youth investment.

Among the bills up for consideration by the Assembly are:
AB 86 – Creation of a Statewide Homelessness Coordinator
AB 391 – Child Abuse Reporting Act
AB 574 – Firearms Reporting Act
AB 912 – SAFE Act taking $250 million in prisons closure savings and reinvesting into youth and crime prevention programs
AB 1610 – Cannabis Testing
