Yesterday, Assemblymember Lisa Calderon (D-Whittier) joined colleagues in passing a pandemic relief budget package that provides billions of dollars in immediate relief for California families and small businesses impacted significantly as a result of the COVID-19 pandemic.

Lisa Calderon is a thirty year resident of her district’s community. She served as one of the first Latina legislative aides in the State Legislature, working on a number of issues, including increasing access to affordable healthcare and empowering small business owners. She also brings with her twenty years of experience as a successful businesswoman, where she created good-paying jobs and helped workers gain new skills in order to succeed.
