4:30 p.m. | Welcome | Advantages of Attending a California Community College Workshop
Students who begin at a community college and transfer to a 4-year college or university graduate at a rate that is equal to or higher than students who start as freshmen at the university. Learn more about the benefits of continuing your education at a community college.
Workshops & Breakout Rooms

5:30 p.m. - 6:30 p.m. | Community College Representatives Breakout Rooms
Each breakout room will be divided into sessions that will occur concurrently every 20-minutes and consist of a presentation from representatives followed by Q & A. You will be able to switch rooms at any time during and at the end of each session.
- Room 1: Rio Hondo College & East Los Angeles College
- Room 2: Mt. San Antonio College & Pasadena City College
- Room 3: Cerritos College & Citrus College
6:30 p.m. - 7:30 p.m. | DREAMer Resources Workshop
This workshop is designed to show students and parents the financial, academic and social support available at numerous college and university campuses throughout California. It will help you navigate the higher education system and dispel some of its myths.
